the NEW advantages of being a developing country with acres and acres of pristine, unspoiled nature -- you can get a contractor to build monstrous structures on top of this land, then get them to pay you millions of dollars in compensation for destroying your precious natural environment which you hold so dear. the paltry compensation sum can then be used for creating national parks, monitor forests and benefit communities affected by the dam put to good use.
